Join PEI Singer-songwriter Scott Parsons for a workshop as part of Fresh From the Island on October 14th from 1-3pm. This workshop will develop ideas around the musical cabaret that Scott is writing based on stories and songs from PEI Black History. This two hour presentation promises to be full of insight into the creative process, gripping tales, and toe-tapping tunes.
About the Facilitator: Singer-Songwriter Scott Parsons is a versatile and multi-dimensional talent whose musicianship and performance capabilities have taken him to many countries around the world. His perseverance as an independent artist is a testament to the Maritime Spirit.
Parsons is a gifted songwriter, a solid musician and an emotionally expressive vocalist with a powerful set of pipes that can take a song anywhere he wants that song to go.
