You’ll be welcomed with a complimentary cocktail as you indulge in a roving reception upon arrival featuring locally crafted spirits. Eat and explore the beautiful A.A. MacDonald Memorial Gardens while delightful live music wafts over you from the deck of the Kings Playhouse. Be sure to catch the interactive oyster shucking demo hosted by award-winning shucker and guest host Patrick McMurray.
You’ll be invited to sit down in the Dedication Hall for a sumptuous four-course feast following the welcome reception. Prepared by Chef Jesse MacDonald from The Wheelhouse in Georgetown, Patrick MacMurray, The Georgetown Historic Inn and Restaurant, Maroon Pig Art Gallery and Sweet Shop, the meal will celebrate familiar and less-familiar hyper-local ingredients from the region. This unforgettable evening will be topped off with marvellous entertainers, Fiddler’s Sons, giving our guests a true Island experience.

The Kings Playhouse in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island is well known for its ghostly inhabitants. Featured on television and through numerous media outlets for its lore and the paranormal activity experienced year round. It is one of the longest running theatres in Canada established in 1887.
Join us for this Haunted Walk of our Historic Town. Featuring tales of the paranormal throughout Historic Georgetown, you’ll leave looking at the Town and its history through new eyes!
Note: This tour requires some walking over uneven ground.
